I am currently looking for upmarket and literary fiction, YA, and select nonfiction, with a focus on work by Latinx authors and BIPoC. I am drawn to innovative, language-driven work in fiction, often with weird or speculative elements, and idea-driven, researched nonfiction on culture, feminism, immigration, and the environment. I am not currently seeking memoirs.

Books that reflect the diversity of the NYC I grew up in and love,
especially ones that feature native NYers' love of language (borough specific!)
Close and complex relationships between womxn
The love child of Deborah Levy and Samanta Schweblin
The adopted, anxious canine of Yuri Herrera and Miriam Toews
Hopkins' "Carrion Comfort" x Howe's "What the Living Do": A Novel About Grief
Something that will make me feel awe and wonder at the world
A book that sweats the small stuff (a world in a grain of sand)
